The Padirac chasm

The Padirac chasm is one of the largest underground sites in France, and the most visited. A majestic natural cavity 75 meters high and 35 meters in diameter. The Gouffre de Padirac is a must see in the Causse du Quercy in the Lot region. Located 11 km from Rocamadour, it is only 30 minutes from your hotel La Garissade de Labastide Murat.

At the bottom, 103 meters underground, runs the Padirac river, which flows in a network of galleries of more than 40 km.
